Is there anything more casual than bicycles, slip-ons, or octopuses? (Octopi?) No, there is not.
A lot has been going on the last couple weeks. First, I got to go on a Girls-Only roadtrip to Moab. It had been 15 years since I’d gone to Moab, and a lot had changed! I appreciated it a lot more this time around–I was a bratty 10 year old–and it was fun to get out in nature with 2 of my best gal-pals. After Moab, we went up the mountains to my friend’s family cabin, and it SNOWED! We woke up to a winter wonderland! We stayed overnight and came back home to spring weather. It was a great trip!
Second, I bought my very own DSLR! YAY!!! It’s a Canon T3i, and I’m stoked to try it out in NYC…which is totally happening in 1 DAY! I know I don’t shut up about my beloved city, but seriously, my husband and I had such a crap year last year, and this 10 day vacation is going to RULE. And when we get back, I’ll post my adventures on here. Lucky you! 😉
Oh, and we get to go see Avengers: Age of Ultron whilst in NYC. We’re HUGE Marvel/DC geeks, loud and proud, and we’re going to hit a so-called amazing comic book store in Times Square, and if I can walk out of there spending under $75, it will be a Christmas miracle. So that’s probably the #1 thing I’m most excited about NYC. Is that lame? Oh, well. YOLO! (Ew…I’m so sorry.)
